This is the song that Namie Amuro covered in 2002. It's actually the song that revived her stagnant career. In 1991, Keedy recorded the Diane Warren written ballad for her only album. It was cut off as the second single, and it did all right on the charts from what I can gather. Much like Amuro's rendition, Keedy's "Wishing on the Same Star" is still a heartfelt pop ballad with the right hook. The arrangement is quite reminiscent of late '80s~early '90s pop.
