Boomkat is a sibling duo led by actress Taryn Manning (8 Mile, Hustle and Flow, A Lot Like Love), and backed by brother Kellin. They've never had a big hit, but their debut "The Wreckoning" was a #1 on the Billboard's dance charts. Although Taryn's not the greatest actress, she caught me by surprise with her singing. She's not some powerhouse songstress, but more of a fiery vocalist leaning towards spitfire lyrics much like Nelly Furtado. This song of spurned love is a product of dance pop and hip-hop, and is just of full of passion.
