Tibetan folk singer turned J-pop singer alan is back with her first "upbeat" single. The title song "Sora Uta", concentrating on a sky theme, is something that Hitomi Shimatani could have sung. It was composed by Yuuho Iwasato, whose works include songs by AKINO, Anri, Miki Imai, Takako Matsu, Rimi Natsukawa, Maaya Sakamoto and Aya Ueto. While "Sora Uta" is not a ballad, it contains the same ethnic elements to be found in "Ashita e no Sanka" and "Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~". It's great to see the label hand alan something that's not a ballad.
