Not sure why Sony decided to debut Penny after BoA and the other teenyboppers invaded Korea in the early 2000s. Penny is naturally a better singer than BoA, but the girl had terrible promotion (or lack thereof). "A Fan in Love" is a simple pop ballad with some R&B influence. Penny's voice is really fresh and just brimming for more growth.
