MAX is made up of the girls who performed as The Super Monkeys with Namie Amuro back in the early '90s. After Amuro went solo, MAX was formed and procured many hits on their own. Kind of a bitch slap to those who thought they were glorified backup dancers. "Shinin'on - Shinin'love" is one of their top ten hits. While MAX has a singing style to many Japanese girl groups - a little monotonous due to their method of singing in unison - I could have heard groups like En Vogue take this song on. Maybe not as well, though.
