KISS (or K.I.S.S. to avoid confusion with the American rock band Kiss) was a short lived Korean girl trio back in the early '00s. They were Jini, Unji and Mini. Their claim to minor fame was the popular song "Yuhja Ee Ni Kka" (Because I'm a Girl). The problem was that the girls themselves weren't as popular. "Moon Jae Ya" is relaxed hip-pop that's rather impressive for a seemingly standard girl group. The writers for KISS' only album put together some slick urban arrangements. Unfortunately, the threesome are still only known for that damn ballad. Solo artist Shim Mina would cover "Moon Jae Ya" (as well as the group's second single "Juhn Hwa Bat Uh") on her own debut in 2002.
