Maia is a Japanese-Swedish singer-songwriter who has lived in Sweden for the majority of her life. I didn't know how to describe this song since it's clearly pop, but not the kind you grind to or the kind that they play in Forever 21. It seems to have a full band, and Maia gives her all vocally even if she's not the most technically skilled singer. Very upbeat despite the irony of the subject matter.
