The lead of Japanese band Bahashishi (Swahili for "bonus") has an odd voice. She's a mix of UA, maybe a throatier Chara with a drop of Chihiro Onitsuka. Despite being only twenty-six years old, Yurari sounds older. Not in a bad way; she comes off as mature. Bahashishi is not your typical J-pop band led by a girl. No synthesizers or electric guitars. Just a refective voice over a balmy and progressive rock composition that's better with repeated listens.
