Joanne Lee, or Lee Yun-Ji, was Korean-American preteen who debuted around thirteen or fourteen. While her album was kind of a flop, she did get a lot of talk time on music shows. She just could barely speak Korean. Her first single "First Love" sounds like a more intense "Genie in a Bottle", employing that western teen dance-pop style so effectively. Joanne's brother joined the group Take, but I have no idea what she's up to now. She's probably going to college.

The music does sounds more like Genie in a Bottle, but listening to her voice really reminds me to younger BoA too.
